The owner, Ruth, was super welcoming and provided us with an extensive range of information about the area, including great places to eat. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, from cooking oil to tea and coffee. The cottage itself was spacious and comfortable, with comfortable beds and a second bathroom which was a real bonus. The property was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we could possibly need, including a washing machine. The location was perfect, with beautiful rural surroundings and walking trails nearby, yet still within walking distance of Okehampton. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

The bathroom in Meadow Sweet Cottage was a real gem! It had a nice shower that was perfect to wash away the day's adventures. As a backpacker, I really appreciated having a clean and functional bathroom to refresh myself before heading out.
