The views from the cottage were absolutely mind-blowing! Situated on a hill with panoramic views of the town and the Tors, it was the perfect peaceful country location. The owner, Ruth, was super welcoming and provided us with an extensive range of information about the area, including great places to eat. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, from cooking oil to tea and coffee. The cottage itself was spacious and comfortable, with comfortable beds and a second bathroom which was a real bonus. The property was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we could possibly need, including a washing machine. The location was perfect, with beautiful rural surroundings and walking trails nearby, yet still within walking distance of Okehampton. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

The view from this hilltop cottage was absolutely stunning, with clear sights of the Tors and the town below. It was such a peaceful and serene location without any noise from the town bothering us. The owner had thoughtfully provided us with a wealth of information about the area, including books, leaflets, and maps, which was incredibly well-organized and comprehensive. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, from cooking oil and sauces to paper towels and tea cloths. There was even a separate freezer, as well as a washing machine for our convenience. The beds were also extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for all of us. We were so impressed and satisfied with our stay, and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone.

The value for the money at Meadow Sweet Cottage was exceptional, with a clean and comfortable room that had everything we needed. The location was perfect, offering a stunning view and easy access to Okehampton and nearby Bude. The staff, especially Ruth, were wonderful and made us feel welcome with their helpfulness and extensive knowledge about Devon.
Breakfast delights could have been better with a more varied selection.

The bathroom in Meadow Sweet Cottage was a real gem! It had a nice shower that was perfect to wash away the day's adventures. As a backpacker, I really appreciated having a clean and functional bathroom to refresh myself before heading out.
Personally, I found the bathroom in Meadow Sweet Cottage a bit small, but hey, everyone has different preferences, right?
